The Story Behind Scooty
Scootapotamus™ began as a story created for Sheila’s granddaughter, Dezi. What started in the imagination grew into a world of characters, adventures, and lessons about kindness, courage, friendship, and belonging.
Scooty’s wheels make him different, but they’re also part of what makes him special. Through each adventure, Sheila hopes children see that differences can be something to celebrate, questions can lead to discovery, and kindness can help everyone find their place.
